Dr. Ozuzun was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. He always had the desire to help others, and knew that he wanted to go into the medical field from a very young age. Dr. Ozuzun attended college at UCLA, majoring in Physiological Science. After completing his medical studies at Ross University, Dr. Ozuzun completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. He earned several awards during residency, including Best Resident Teacher award and Best Resident Teammate award.

Dr. Ozuzun went on to complete his Nephrology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he gained valuable experience in treating a variety of complex nephrology cases and kidney transplant patients. It was during his fellowship training when Dr. Ozuzun met his wife, who happened to be born and raised in Newport Beach. After getting married, Dr. Ozuzun moved down to Orange County and joined Southern California Kidney Associates. During his first year of practice, Dr. Ozuzun was voted as Physician of the Quarter for the critical care department at HOAG Hospital Newport Beach.

Dr. Ozuzun enjoys spending time with his wife and family, traveling, snorkeling, learning how to surf, playing tennis and basketball. He enjoys living and working in Newport Beach, and gets great satisfaction in being able to provide quality patient care.
